Keep a leash on him and try the bath tub if he isnt too big, that will isolate him and not let him move too much. Also have someone help you, one holds and keeps there attention while the other washes, good luck, I had a dog that didn't like water and it was awful but thats what we did and it worked, so good luck on your WET adventure! And you could always get in with him and hold him between your legs, do whatever works.... in a sensible manner.

Put on your swim suit and take a shower with the crazy dog. I would like to know why you think the dog is crazy and yet you expect it to take a shower on it's own?

You walk it to the bathroom, put it in the shower and turn it on. You've gotten your crazy dog to shower. Don't forget to tell him to wash behind the ears! Heh.

Good luck. I tried this with my Border Collie since he hated laying in the water so much. Turns out that he hates showers too. I don't think that you have much hope if they're just not into bath time. At least with a shower you can get in with them and trap them between your legs (yes, at least in a bathing suit!) while you bubble 'em up. Have fun.

My dog goes crazy and starts growling if he knows we are going to put a leash on him in the backyard. He knows I'm going to drag him towards the water hose. So I have to pretend to take him for a walk. The moment I leash him up in the front porch, I bring him to the back yard. It's too late to fight back then!
