No, money is not the root of all evil. The Bible doesn't even say that "money is the root of all evil"; though some people erroneously teach that it is. What the Bible teaches concerning a statement that sounds like that is: "For the LOVE of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:10)

It's not money. Greed is the root of all evil. It's selfishness, wanting what others have, unwillingness to share with others.
