What is the Islamic reaction to the documentary, "Islam: What the West needs to know"?

I asked this question before, but the responses were less than useful. Please, I would like to hear a muslim logical rebuttal to this documentary. The silence to much of this concerns me, as I would expect to get a large reaction from the Islamic faith. Below is a link the the same question I asked before, and the reactions.

There is one peice of the documentary that is concerning to me.

They point out that the peacful teachings are made null and void by the doctrine of abrogation presented in the Quran 2:106. This, in short, explains if there are contridictory verses in the Quran, that the later verse cronologically is the accepted doctorine. This was concerning to me, as cronologically the Quran goes from very peacful to violent, ending with the book of the sword.

The documenary points out that this belief is what is fueling much of the justification for violence.

This is one of the reasons I'm concerned about the use of the title, Islamic Fundementalism. Are violent Muslims practicing the fundementals of the Islamic faith?

This addresses your concern. If you do not understand this,
it is impossible to relieve your concerns and inquries. Islam means submission to God thus attainment of peace. Youc an not attain peace by breaking God's Laws (killing, tyranny, being unjust, lying) it is impossible.

Regarding the people who wrote and complied teh documentary
[6:112] We have permitted the enemies of every prophet - human and jinn devils - to inspire in each other fancy words, in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications.

[6:113] This is to let the minds of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and thus expose their real convictions.*

Quran: Fully Detailed*

[6:114] Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?* Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.

[6:115] The word of your Lord is complete,* in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.


[6:116] If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of GOD. They follow only conjecture; they only guess.

[6:117] Your Lord is fully aware of those who stray off His path, and He is fully aware of those who are guided.

[6:118] You shall eat from that upon which GOD's name has been pronounced, if you truly believe in His revelations.

Sura 2 Ayat 104

Those of the people of the book who are Kafir and the mushrikun do not like anything good to be sent down to you
from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whomever he wills. Allah's favor is truly vast.

1.) Islam believes some of the people of the book (people who were given previous revelations, mainly the Jews and Christians)
and Mushrikun (Hypocritical Muslims) do not like good things to happen to people who are sincere Muslims. And that God blesses people from all walks of life and never focuses on one particular group, his mercy and blessings are endless.

a.) Simply put disbelievers are jeolous and do not wish any good from God to come to Muslims. Notice the passage said the kafir (disbelievers) among... Because


b.) Not All People of the Book are Disbelievers

[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

:113] They are not all the same; among the followers of the scripture, there are those who are righteous. They recite GOD's revelations through the night, and they fall prostrate.

[3:114] They believe in GOD and the Last Day, they advocate righteousness and forbid evil, and they hasten to do righteous works. These are the righteous.

[3:115] Any good they do will not go unrewarded. GOD is fully aware of the righteous.

[3:116] Those who disbelieved can never be helped by their money or their children against GOD. They have incurred Hell, wherein they abide forever.

[3:117] The example of their accomplishments in this life is like a violent wind that hits the harvest of people who have wronged their souls, and wipes it out. GOD never wronged them; it is they who wronged themselves.


Muslims believe belivers are worldwide, but that most people, Jews, Christians, Muslims, are hypocrits. The hypocrit Muslims are worse then Kafirs (Disbelievers) to the Muslim faith.

islam believed,respect,n trusted all religions who beleived in oneness of God.
prophecy started with Adam,moving on with Abraham,Issac,Ishmael,Moses,Jesus,Jacob n many more ending this at Muhammad(peace be upon all of them).n all divine books,Toraoh,Bible n final conclusive Quran.

islam is the conclusion of all religions as u can see n we believe:

Abraham showed presence of God
Moses showed power of God
Jesus showed love of God
n muhammad showed rules,principles of God

this worked in sequence,God knows better,than any of us.it can be seen by those who r willing to see it.


for answering the 3rd person,on Muhammad(pbuh) issue

first of all,all verses,if been said in a way, that kill non-believers,until Islam rise or so....were revealed during the session of war.so reading Quran,without understanding the situation in which verses were revealed is useless,n even devastating.secondly,no english or any other language translation,can exactly explain Quran,to study n understand it completely,one should visit Muslim scholar.for e.g:sura anfaal during war-e-badr,sura tauba: during war with jews,n christians.islam promoted fighting for religion,but only in self defence,when non-believers attacked their religion.
as sura anfaal,where explains rules n tactics of war.....in the same sura it's been said:
if they don't break into ur houses,harm u,or help those who r causing harm to u,be good to them,remain peaceful,fight with those who break into,or harm u...

about hazrat zainab,hazrat zaid(Allah be please with him),was called by prophet(pbuh) as his son.as earlier he was slave(slavery was common in arab before islam,islam never promoted it,so Muhammad(pbuh) called him as his son,n treated him as one.
when zaid gave divorce to zainab,for personal reasons,God ordered Muhammad(pbuh) tomarry her,as she was also Prophet's cousin.
reasons:for her protection
to prove that calling someone ur son,doesn't make him.only bloody relationships r real,this was important to differentiate whom u can marry, n whom u can't.


prophet's(pbuh) marriage with hazrat aisha(Allah be pleased),which non-believers always criticize,was also by God\s order,it's b\c what christians did with their prophet we shouldnot,as aisha was the one who preached islam,n moved forward his teachings knowing him closely,that's the reason muslims didn't start calling prophet(pbuh) as God, or son of God.

"I have been made victorious with terror" when prophet said this i would really like to see proof.he asked ppl,have i done my job?they said yes,with responsibility.he raised his finger towards sky, n said please God be a witness...these were his last words on deathbed.
