He can not lie.
Hebrews 6:18 "...it is impossible for God to lie,..."

He cannot lie, so things that he has promised he cannot remove. Actually, this points out a few things that he will not do. He does not kill immortals (like angels or demons). He won't destroy the world in a flood again, and although his will is always eventually done and he can be very persuasive he still gave us free will. So he doesn't interfere with free will.

edit: To the guy that says he lied to Adam and Eve, he didn't. Adam and Eve would have been immortal had they not eaten of the fruit. So they ate, and they eventually died.

There are many things that God cannot do. He cannot lie, He cannot learn, He cannot make a mistake, He cannot tempt people to do evil, He cannot sin and He cannot do things that are impossible by definition.

That's why God can't create a weight so huge that He cannot lift it or make parallel lines cross or make a square circle, etc.

Your question contradicts itself. If god is all-powerful then by definition there's nothing he can't do.

Trouble is, that would make for a very dull story; that must be why the god of the bible makes so many profoundly stupid mistakes.

God can not remember my sin...it has been covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and HE said HE will remember it no more. It has been cast into the deepest sea and NO FISHING signs have been posted.

You can make sure your sin is forgiven too.....

God cannot prove to me that he exists.

Oh, and to those who say god cannot lie: I've got news for you; he did. To Adam and Eve, according to your silly little book.

He told Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil "for you shall surely die." On the day they ate said fruit they didn't die, they were cast out of the garden and continued to live for some several hundred years. Doesn't sound like death to me.

You christians make me laugh. Isn't it funny how an atheist like me knows more about the bible than you?
