My grandpa had an apple farm growing up and my family made homemade apple cider every fall. It is the best during cold winter or when you have a cold to drink warmed apple cider. Also try sprinkling some nutmeg on top, it adds a natural outdoorsy flavoring that is to die for. GOOD QUESTION!!!

I stay in needed Florida; yet i've got been making mulled cider for years. i think being born in Ohio, yet residing in Florida for 40 years makes me a hybrid....;) a million Gallon apple cider 2 cups orange juice 4 cinnamon sticks 2 teaspoons floor ginger a million teaspoon nutmeg a million sliced apple a million orange peeled and sectioned Apricot brandy mixture each and all the components different than the brandy in a sluggish cooker (crockpot), warmth on severe for half-hour, then on low for no less than a million hour. you additionally can use a ceramic coated pan on a range, in simple terms warmth on low for no less than a million.5 hours. To serve, pour a shot of apricot brandy in a espresso mug, then fill with cider, stir. The brandy isn't needed, the cider tastes large with out it...yet for people who drink any alcohol the brandy makes it luscious.

I love it! I grew up in Michigan and we had it every fall. It is great with a cinnamon stick in it. I miss it now that I live in Georgia!
