glucosamine and condrontin mixture are both natural herbs and I have heard of them making miraculous changes in a person's condition such as your friend.

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.
If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.
Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.
And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.
I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.
It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.
Today, I want to do the same for you!

Hi Tuyo
Here are the answers you need.
Cause:
Arthritis is caused by acids and waste matter in the body, which eventually become solidified and lock the joint. This condition is caused and aggravated by improper diet. Some of the worst intakes are eggs, bread, milk, meat, salt, sugar, etc., because they cause arthritic calcification. The use of extremely hard water (generally of twelve or more grains in hardness) will often accentuate an arthritic condition where softer water will help relieve it. Sometimes an individual with a good inherent structure can throw off the hardest water without arthritic effect. The weaker person may drink water that is not very hard and absorb from it relatively larger quantities of the inorganic minerals.
Quick Action Plan for Rheumatoid Arthritis
1. Acupuncture treatment helps to reduce the body's aggressive defenses that inadvertently attack its own joint tissue.
2. Massage affected joints with rosemary, benzoin, chamomile, camphor, juniper, or lavender.
3. Diet plays an integral part in reducing or preventing the onset of all types of arthritic conditions. A diet rich in an abundant selection of fresh vegetables, and a wide variety of sweet and non-sweet fruits, soaked nuts and seeds, and whole grains is recommended.
4. Tomatoes, cayenne, black and long pepper should be avoided by person's with rheumatoid arthritis. Minimize protein intake, choose small quantities of fish, legumes, eggs, soaked nuts and seeds. Eliminate beef, chicken, shellfish, and pork completely. Eat no hydrogenated fats, processed sugars, dairy products, alcohol, coffee, or black tea.
5. Use the following powerful aids to speed and assist healing: Goji, Acai and Noni juice, bee pollen, royal jelly, and evening primrose oil are recommended, as is Shark cartilage, Wobenzyme, DMSO, MSM Manganese Cetyl myristoleate with lipase, and vitamin C.
6. Test for food and environmental allergies and avoid all foods and substances to which you are allergic.
7. Cleansing and Detoxification including colon and bowel cleansing therapies, fasting, kidney and gallbladder flushes, physical medicine, and homeopathic remedies.
Isometric exercises, stretching, and yoga can help ease arthritis pain.
8. Constitutional hydrotherapy (apply two to five times weekly) or heating compress (apply once daily to affected areas).
9 Drink the juice of half a lemon before every meal and before going to bed.
Best of health to you
Cheers

MSM may be helpful. Fish oil may help, large doses, the kind with omega 3 fatty acids. In larger doses it is an anti-inflammatory. Chondroitin sulfate, often sold with glucosamin, may help. If she can figure out if she is allergic to anything and can avoid that thing, it may help. My mother had RA. It was horrible. She finally figured out that she couldn't eat beef or pork, mainly just chicken. She quit dairy products and nightshade vegetables (potatoes, peppers, tomatoes and eggplant). Those changes helped her stabilize her condition.
Your relative may have other triggers.
There are warm to melt wax and then coat your hands in the warm wax.
RA sucks!

Whole fresh cherries have anti-inflammatory properties, although a farmer got harassed by the FDA for making the claim because it isn't backed by research (just sort of anecdotal). Ironically, some Universities are currently studying the anti-inflammatory properties of cherries. Most of the modern world's medicines come straight from the same plants & herbs that were used to treat the same conditions in the past.

Joint pain due to arthritis and other reasons can be reduced and cured by making small changes in the diet and lifestyle of the affected person. I found the information at http://aches.in/naturalcuresarthritis.html useful.
