Just last week, the Pope Sainted a Nun from Indiana who lived during the early 19th century. There are Saints from all over the world, the only requirements are that the person be a Roman Catholic and have performed 3 miracles.

Yes, there are American saints. Mother Theodore Guerin was just canonized recently. There's also St. Francis Cabrini, St. John Nepomucene Neumann, St. Rose Duchesne, St. Katherine Drexel and St. Elizabeth Seton.
Saints don't always come from Europe. Africa, Asia and many other areas have saints.

If you mean "ordained Saint", I have no idea. But a little
lady in our church (who just died this month) was a
Saint to me. She loved the Lord, never missed attending
church and giving her tithe, never gossiped about anyone
or said a bad word about anyone, was always pleasant
and thankful for what she had (which wasn't much by
today's standards), and even wrote Christian poems that
were just beautiful. Everyone who knew her, loved her.

Fact is any believer in Christ is a saint. The Roman Catholic church made it into a human work. Actually it is God's work, thus all believers are saints.

There are millions of saints living in America. Of course they are saints in God's eyes, not in the eyes of man made churches that usurp the power of God here on earth in their own minds and give the "official" title of saint to people who live up to their standards. God says that everyone who is born again by his Holy Spirit is a saint.
Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:
Romans 1:7 To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God that is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:

I became one the moment I was baptized as an infant.
Thanks be to God for His unconditional love to make me His own when I had no idea of it.
Baptizing an infant is the greatest display of God's free gift of salvation.
