I'm not fat or anything. I'm actually thin at my stomach area. But my thighs are well.. flabby. I can't think of any other word to describe them. I'm only 12 but it's not puberty or a growth spurt. I tend to compare my thighs to other girl's and they are skinnier. I'm self-conscious about it a lot of the time. escpecially when i have to change in the locker rooms. Whenever I go shopping for jeans, I keep getting all depressed because a lot of them don't fit. I try the next size up but sometimes that doesn't even fit. My thighs almost brush against eachother when I walk even. What can i do to make them thinner? Oh yeah, I don't really eat healthy. I eat a lot of sweets and vegetables but no fruits, barely anyway. Please help if you have any ideas!

I play soccer like 3 times a week right now so should I still run? Or wait until after soccer season?

You are only 12. If you start doing all sorts of things to change your body, it could get dangerous.

Right now, just eat healthy. You know what that is! Fruits veggies, milk, yogurt, lean meat (like chicken and turkey), and so on. As a kid you cant control what adults cook for dinner, but you can stop yourself from having a second plate.

You can do exersizes that you learn in gym class or ride your bike more often.

Your body will change as you grow older. You have lots of time, dont worry about your body now. Just try your best to make healthy choices and everything will fall in place.

Beleive it or not your perfect the way you are. I also have big thighs, i was called thunder thighs growing up, lol. I started to exercise my legs and build muscle, that got rid of the flab. Some of us are blessed with curves and thats cool. I also wear mens jeans because men tend to have bigger thighs then women and the jeans are roomier. But you might try some of the cooler jeans that are out for girls. Try everything, you'll find the perfect fit

You could cut down on the sweets start eating healthy and do lunges, that will help the thigh area. also walking will tone up the legs to. Good luck

girl be proud of you thighs! Try a diffrent type of jeans that will fit better like Baby phat or Apple bottom or J-lo jeans. Curves are something to be celebrated not ashamed of. Girls will be jealous when you get older not many girls with flat stomachs and curvy thighs.

Every woman has what she considers figure flaws. Focus on something else because If you like yourself, the way you are, someone else will too. If you want to firm your thighs--legs, you should walk, run or swim.

first of all, relax. everyone is shaped differently and guess what? all the women i know have problems finding jeans that fit well! i don't know WHO they have as the size they work from, but jeans never fit right. if you have any kind of shape, they look just....wrong. eat healthy foods and exercise, and accept the way your body is built.

Jogging works for me plus a stair stepper will work.Exercise videos are good,I like to use a kickboxing video.You really shouldn't worry about it if your doctor says everything is fine.Good luck girl!

Bicycling will slim down your thighs, especially the inner thigh portion.
