It is amazing how close physicists and astronomers are to really understanding the beginning of our universe. New developments are made on a daily basis. It really is more than just a theory. Scientists are close to being able to actually see the big bang by looking at the light from the bang that has been traveling out through space since that moment.
I think people can still be spiritual and believe in the science of today. The big bang could be the moment that God created the universe and created us through evolution.

It's a theory that supports what the Bible said about the universe: it has a beginning. By looking closely how intricately and highly organized the universe is, we are convinced that it is designed by an intelligent being - God.

I think it explains the beginning of the universe much better than any other theory, especially so when compared to so-called intelligent design.

Pretty interesting.
It's amazing how big our universe is and how big it is getting.
And there's only a small tiny part of the universe that is known to us.
I bet there's civilization thousands of lightyears out there.

What about it? I'd say the evidence definately points to the universe beginning as a single point.

We have lots of evidence that it is correct - the cosmic microwave background, the current expansion of the universe, etc. Sounds good.

it's false. i mean where did that freakin star that started everything come from? I say God created the world in six days. that theory was created to prove that God did not make the world because he does not exist but that theory doesn't prove anything.
