Yes!!!
This is the absolute best movie to date with/on Jesus! There is no comparison with other renditions. The "Jesus Film" is excellent and has been used of God mightily, don't get me wrong. But the Gospel of John the Movie is just so much better quality!
I felt they did an excellent job with all parts of John's Gospel...which (in many ways) is the most confrontational of all 4 Gospels, and I really like that!
The modern-day American "Christian" would find the Jesus portrayed in this movie quite different from their personal picture of Him...yet, the movie did not add or subtract anything from the scripture. So, perhaps they don't know the Lord afterall...or their view of Him is quite incomplete or immature.
In any event, the acting was fantastic and they did a great job with the miracles, too.
I own it and have watched it several times...and have given it away as a gift many times over to family and friends.
The same people were going to make a similar movie on the Gospel of Mark...but they were having financial difficulties, and I am not sure if they are still working on it, or not...
