How can I turn my taskbar from the new windows XP green and blue one to the old windows all grey. Please help me I will vote for the first best answer

Easy enough! Go to the desktop and right click and choose display properties from the drop down menu... click on APPEARANCE and then in the windows and buttons drop down choose CLASSIC style.
Voila... your computer will look like classic windows 98....

Right click on an empty space on your desktop, select properties, click on the appearance tab at the top, on the 'Windows and buttons' drop down menu select Windows classic.

right click my computer and go to properties then choose the "Advanced" tab and on that tab click "settings" button in the performence(iits the very first button on that page) section there ull see a box with check boxes and options scroll down and uncheck "use visual styles on windows and buttons" also here u can also look thro other options and make it better to ur liking

minimize all windows and right click onto desktop, click properties, appearences.. then put your mouse in and around the center of the boxes that show up.. use up and down arrows on your keyboard 2 find a color you like .. click ok when done .. easy : )

right click on your desktop > properties > appearance > choose windows classic and windows classic style

right click the desktop, go to properties, click the themes tab, slect windows classic from the dropdown and then click ok.

right hit desktop hit properties. hit on themes tab. set them .to windows classic . hit apply and ok
