I've been really stressed out lately, but it's gotten to the point where it's not just being stressed out in my mind. It has given me horrible stomach pains that are present 24/7. It's almost like the feeling you get when you're really nervous or when you feel something big or wrong is going to happen.. It won't go away and it's gotten to the point where i can't even eat and i can barely get to sleep at night. i don't have medical insurance or i'd go to a doctor.. but does anyone know what this could be? please help me out if you do.

It could potentially be an ulcer or something more serious.

Go to a free clinic--they won't charge any. They are usually in large cities in the downtown areas. IF you're in a college town, go there too.

It may be time to get insurence though. Go through Blue Cross, and just get it. You're going to save yourself in the long run.

DO NOT LET THIS FESTER!

You don't know what it could be, and would you rather spend twice as much on a life-threatning condition? No.

Stress can cause allsorts of problems. If you have developed an ulcer, which is quite possible, you may need to see a doctor. There are such things as free clinics in major cities. If you have no such thing, you can try one natural and harmless treatment recommended in natural remedy books. Try some camomile tea when you feel stressed out. It is relaxing and it will also help heal the stomach damage of excess acid. Another helpful drink is pineapple juice. ...two glasses each day. It has natural qualities that heal the stomach as well, even though it may seem like an acidic drink... it is not... it is very good. You can try these and see if it helps and they are affordable. But if you can, see a doctor.

I have had this problem also. I am unsure that it could be an ulcer because ulcers are not necessarily caused by stress. They are caused by bacteria in the stomach. However, illnesses such as irritable bowel syndrome, may become exacerbated with stress. Intestinal problems can be as painful as you described. You also need to be checked for life threatening illnesses such as an appendicitis. Such as finding a physician in your area, you may want to look up a clinic where they treat people without medical insurance. If you have a nurse at your place of employment, you may also want to talk to her for help. If things become so out of control that you think your condition is life threatening, then go to the emergency room immediately.

You gotta go to the doctor! got this from www.webmd.com

No. 4: Severe Abdominal Pain

Still have your appendix? Don't flirt with the possibility of a rupture. Gallbladder and pancreas problems, stomach ulcersulcers, and intestinal blockages are some other possible causes of abdominal pain that need attention.

Could be an ulcer. If it is you do need medical treatment. You can try Pepcid AC or other types of over the counter medicines, but if it is an ulcer, it could begin bleeding and you could end up in much worse shape if you delay treatment.
