My jar got pushed to the back of the shelf in my pantry. The Best By date is 10-17-05.

I wouldn't give it any longer than a week, as it is still a dairy product.

I get kind of iffy when the mayo is even left out for a few hours, as I had a jar go sour after 3 hours in the open air once. I wouldn't recommend using it after a max of a week.

I do not think it would be very good after a few days. Since there is egg content in mayo, I think it would go off really quickly. Same with some of the salad dressings. I would only use them a few days after the expiry date.

Don't use it after it's experied. Throw it out after the date is past. In your case, the mayo is over a year old, don't use it.

ew. I would just throw it out and get some...its only about $4 for a pretty big jar.
