Your nose runs in the body's attempt to rid itself of toxins. Green mucus indicates an infection well-underway; clear mucus shows an infection that is slight and on its way out (yellow mucus is inbetween).

Your body is releasing Histamines as a reaction to a to a virus in your system. which cause the runny nose and watery eyes. thats whay cold and flu medicines have "anti-histamines". its a crappy way of letting you know your body is fighting whatever is bothering you..!!

Your body is releasing histamines ad a result of irritated sinuses or cold symptoms. Take an antihisamine. This will slow it down.

because since ur body knows ur sick it starts to produce more defense stuff (snot) and it basically starts to run
