Once saved always saved is a false teaching.
You can receive forgiveness of sin and yet God gave you a free will to reject or walk away from the grace of God.

It is interesting that those who believe "once saved always saved" also believe you have a free will to choose God as an unbeliever.
An unbeliever would never choose to follow God.
Only the power of the Gospel creates faith and brings to life the spiritually dead.
Thanks be to God for His amazing grace.

That statement is the biggest lie I've ever heard. I know of several people that actually believe no matter what you do, you are still saved. They don't believe in backsliding. And they live like hell. Very sad.

There is no association between repenting and OSAS, which was an opinion of Martin Luther, and was never heard of before his private interpretation of scripture.

In other words, there is no evidence of OSAS in existence before Martin Luther, and is therefore a man-made doctrine.

Of course! If you read the bible it tells us to ask for forgiveness.
Paul wrote to some who had at one time been faithful, but now had turned back to Judaism. He said "You have become estranged from Christ...you have fallen from grace" (Gal. 5:4)
