My hair has always given me trouble. I can't color it, rinse it, or wear it back for too long without it breaking off. And for some reason everytime it reaches a certain length it starts to break off. I was told that Vitamin E and Zinc will make my hair stronger and help it grow. Is this true?

someone else asked a question just like this...this is what i suggested for them to do...

Zinc, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Biotin, & Amino Acids along with a few other vitamins are very important in healthy hair growth.

Prenatal vitamins are high in a few of these vitamins which does make it very good for faster hair growth. Along with nail growth as well. All the other vitamins in them are very good for you too. A few of my friends take this for that purpose. Its pretty cheap and its very good for you. All of them say it works.~This of course is if your a female...im not to sure how this would work out on males?? ;)

Another thing that you may want to know...there are some really good products specially made for hair growth. A really good one is called "Shen Min". It has just about every vitamin known for healthy hair. Not only will it help your hair grow faster but it helps restore your hair back to its original form (color, thickness).

Another thing you could try is "main and tail" shampoo & conditioner. it is very good as well. i use this a few times a week to help my hair grow faster.

Prenatal Pills are very good for you no matter how you look at it & they will help your hair grow. An actual hair growth formula (like shen min) may be more of what your looking for.

theres a few ideas, i hope i was able to help you some!

If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesisTry GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results.

well, for me and all my friends we use...omega fish oil, and flax seed oil...and you really can see the difference...some take 3 month or so...vitamin e is also good, zinc is ok, but watch it...use only very small amounts, its a trace mineral...so you have to balance it out with other vitamins...
