No. Hepatitis C is a blood borne pathogen. In other words, it is transmitted blood to blood only. It is rarely transmitted sexually unless there is blood to blood contact. The transmission risk factors are tattoos, piercings, military blood exposure through injuries and through pnuematic vaccinations, IV drug use even if only one time, sharing razors or toothbrushes with an infected person, kidney dialysis, and snorting drugs (sharing straws or dollar bill). You cannot get this disease from casual contact.

the chance is minimal...unless they spit in it! I wouldnt take any chances....there is NO cure for hep C. No vaccine either. If you think you have become infected...you need to go to the doctor for blood work...and then have follow up blood work in six months. Many ppl have Hep C and you cant tell...they appear healthy. If you go to www.cdc.gov....there is all kinds of info on hepatitis..this is the website for the Center of Disease Control (cdc). Hope this helps?

No---probably not.
Hep C is the hardest one to get---it is mainly transmitted through sex and drug use---just like HIV. Hep A can be transmitted in food, water, etc.
