If you wanted to go into the Army Training for Rotary Winged Warrant Officer(About 56 Weeks including BT and WOCS)..I know getting a private pilots liscense would be great but my parents are set on me going to college and wont pay for it(Because they know what I want to do it for and that it will stop me wanting to go to college, which I dont in the first place)

But said if I had to money I could (They said they had money for my college but wouldnt pay for this)..I can only come up w/ maybe $200 extra a month..

Starting at about a sophmore to a Senior( Like age 15-18) in High School, What could you that would help you get picked for Rotary Winged WO?

--Thanks

Work hard and study hard! Get top grades. If you want to from High School to Flight School you need to show the WO board that you are commited to complete WOC and flight school. You also need to get a high ASVAB score to compete. Make sure you have no law violations and stay in good health. It's very hard to go this route, but work hard and you can make it.

Go to www.army.mil and search for the listing on pilots. That wil lgive you al lthe necessary requirements for officers. I know one isa degree, though...... you may consider the college, or the Green to Gold program......
