I'm trying to figure out a information about the contacts that you wear at night.
how much does it usually cost & how long does it last?
if you wear it, does it improve your visions or does it just protect your visions from getting worse?

please help
thank you :]

Are you talking about Contact Lenses that you wear in the Night and in the Day, or are you Talking about contact lenses that you put on before you goto bed and when you wake up and take them off your vision is perfect for the rest of the day which is called Orthokeratology, and you then repeat that process. If you are talking about the 2nd choice I gave, then I can tell you that all it is is a Rigid contact lens that is specially fitted to your eye by an Optometrist, it cost around Brace your Self, $3,000 which I thoght I heard wrong when an Optometrist told me, the Lens Shapes your Cornea overnight and when you wake up you take them out and your cornea stays in that shape temporarily for the whole day and you have perfect vision, they dont correct you vision permanly though. I know this beause I used to Volunteer in an Optmetry Clinic and I got to see all of this kinds of stuff like that, I looked into that and asked the Optometrist I worked for and Suprisingly enough she knew alot beause she is certified to fit them, lol. You can go to http://www.bausch.com/en_US/consumer/surgical/ortho_intro_con.aspx for more info.

Hope That Helps!!!

nothing improves your vision or keeps it from getting worse, contacts make up for the lack in your vision for the time you wear them, but only lasik surgery or something can really help, here they are advertising that surgery for as little as 200 dollars an eye. which is ten percent of what it used to be.

Here is a web site that might help anwser your questions.
BUT the very best advice I could offer you would be to please make an apt. with your eye doctor and discuss with him/her what is best for you eyes. Beside of which you can not get contacts with out an exam first from an eye doctor.
good luck and hope this helped!
Take care!
