I just don't want to have to retype everything if I can copy it over into my contact database.

First thing a PDF file is ONEWAY road. No coming back to any form!!. However you can use the TEXT tool in the tool bar and do a select and copy and paste to anywhere you want. BUT it wont give you the formatting. I have done this to Excel. Depending on the selection it gave varied results. You can try that.
