I was told I have HPV and that it's a sexually transmitted disease. But I have heard also that you can get HPV from anywhere (such as a toilet seat) I am 24, lost my V. when I was 20 and have had only 3 partners. Should I tell my past partners? My mom died of ovarian cancer and 63% of my relatives have *had* cancer or died from it. I am scared to death. I need more info on this subject. Please help.

STOP!.........You need to talk to your doctor about your fears!

Your number of partners does not matter....as it only takes 1 time of unprotected sex with a bad partner to get you infected.
Yes, someone you trusted got you infected!
STOP...you need to talk to your doctor about your unprotected sex.....You need help ....from a clinic or a doctor immediately!

Now and forever, use the Protection that they (medical officials) recommend. Protect yourself....and do what they tell you!
