Clarify what anti-christ are you talking about. Is he the one like me because I have reasons not to believe in him or is it the anti-Christ whom Christian religions have associated with Satan? If your answer is yes to both, we have been here long ago. The latter is just much longer because he had been here even before Job of the Old Testament. He became more powerful and great at the same time Christianity was formed. The One who is really coming is the one who will expose him but before he will succeed he will be mistaken as the Anti-Christ first. So, take care because the deception at that time will be much greater and you will wish you have not been in this generation.

Point 1. The anti-christ is only of any interest to christians anyway.

2. Anybody who disbelieves in the divinity of JC ie. he's a god, must, by definition, be an anti-christ. Again though, No. 1 applies.

3. since the idea of an anti-christ was dreamed up by the (probably) drug soakes John the divine, it's unlikely to be in any way true. Just one of his many delusions/hallucinations

An anti - Christ is any who teaches false doctrine. Jesus and Paul both warned of ones like these calling them wolves in sheeps clothing. At the time of the last books of the Bible being written , there were already many, for the apostle John wrote this in his letter at 1 John 2; 18. A story about one anti - Christ taking over the world has been popularized by such books as the Left Behind series.

That's a bit like asking 'when will we know that Christ has been reborn'?

The anti-Christ will grow in power but will remain guarded and secret until his time of power. The anti-Christ will be accepted by his people and they will know it's him. Christ on he other hand will make a grand entrance and then he'll be ridiculed by the people and the church as some nutter who claims to be Jesus. To date there have been 57 claims of someone being the messiah (22 before and after Jesus in his time). There has only been one claim of somebody famous knowing that the Anti-Christ is alive and is currently aged 15 living in London.

He will seek worship: Revelation 13:4, Daniel 7:8
He will blaspheme God Revelation 13:1
He will persecute Revelation 13:7, Daniel
He will be led by a man: Daniel 7:8
He will be diverse from other nations Daniel 7:19
He will grow up out of the 4th kingdom of Daniel 7
He will root out three other nations Daniel 7:24
He will be a nation Daniel 7:23
He will be a small nation Daniel 7:8
He will arise some time after the fall of Pagan Rome in AD 476
He will arise out of the 10 kingdoms of Europe that Pagan Rome split into
He shall think to change times and laws Daniel 7:25
He shall reign for 3 1/2 years or 1260 day=1260 years in Bible prophecy Daniel 7:25, Numbers 14:34
He will receive a deadly wound Revelation 13:3
The deadly wound will heal Revelation 13:3
The whole world will worship him Revelation 13:8
He will be a combination of church and state
He will be called the man of sin arising out of the great apostasy forecast by Paul 2 Thessalonian 2:3
He will stand up in the temple of God and proclaim himself to be God 2 Thessalonians 2:4
He will be judged and slain by the second coming of Jesus Christ Daniel 7, Revelation 18
He is called the whore of Babylon, in Bible prophecy a woman is a church, a pure woman a pure church, an adulterous woman a false church
He had already started his false teachings in Paul's day

By these and other statements we can conclude that the antiChrist power is here now, has been here for close to 2000 years, is a nation not an individual, received its power from Pagan Rome.

This power was identified by all the reformers. It received a deadly wound in 1798 at the end of 1260 year rule. The wound began to heal in 1929 when it received back its kingdom. It is the smallest, yet one of the most powerful nations on earth. It is the Roman Catholic Church with the Pope as the man of sin at its head. It is the only nation that fits all the prophecies

To all of you who said there are many antichrists (note lower case 'a') you are correct. However, the books of Daniel and Revalation also speak of one Antichrist (note upper case 'A') Judging by the capital letter in the question, I assume this is a question about the one Antichrist, who is assuredly more than a character in Tim LaHaye's and Jerry B. Jenkins' Left Behind series. There will be signs, and it should be clear who the Antichrist is...

"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, -- And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. -- And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worshipthe image of the beast should be killed. -- And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or in their foreheads: -- And that no man might buy or sell, save that he had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. -- Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six." Revalation 13:13-18

If, at any time, any government attempts to brand your hand or forehead with the mark of the beast, or the number of the beast, refuse to accept the mark. Accept death and martyrdom in the name of Christ before denying him by accepting the mark of the beast.

1. "Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen; from this we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, in order that it might be shown that they all are not of us." 1 Jn 2:18-19
2. "Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also." 1 John 2:22-23
3. "By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world." 1 John 4:2-3
4. "For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist." 2 John 1:7

If you are a christian....you won't you will be gone the Bible says in the twinkling of an eye.

The 'Rapture'...where all CHRISTIANS will meet CHRIST in the air....some say some will be here, and then go....but many say as I have said before.....you will be gone.

When Anti-Christ comes....two thirds of the worlds population, will in fact the Bible says be killed.
A really bad time....like nothing this world has ever seen.

You may get lots of answers....but until those people have studied the Bible as I have.....my answer is on track, and correct.
Do not be afraid...just love Jesus.

I don't know...once someone asked me if I was the Anti-Christ. I told them that I didn't believe in the Anti-Christ, but I did believe in the Antillama. Then I had to explain my complex semi-religious-mostly-political plan for World Domination. (not in this world) And then I gave him my website address for World Domination. I don't think I convinced him...
