actually i think best buy sucks in the car audio department. it seems as if the same guy that was sweeping yesterday is the car audio specialist today. if you want to use one of the big chains, go with circuit city. they seem like they know what they're doing.

First off, what kind of vehicle do you have? and when you say system what do you mean? just a radio, a radio and speakers, or all of the above and then some (amps, subs)?
As far as the quality of products at BestBuy, it's ok. They sell some decent brands, Circuit City has a great selection, and I'm sure there's bound to be a local dealer around you that will have some other options.
Now, as far as quality of installation, I'd have to say BestBuy, in my opinion, isn't quite up to par. Circuit City tends to do good installs, and ask around about the local shops, there's always 1 or 2 that are known for good installs. Or you could always do it yourself.

I would check with other options first, do you have any other stereo places where you live?
Also check out www.crutchfield.com
It's not too hard to do, why don't you try to do it yourself
if u buy from crutchfield you get free installation kits and I think they have 24 hour support
