Yes they will, are you sure they are buckeyes and not chestnuts? chestnuts won't hurt the dog, but buckeyes are poisonous

Not unless it is a Ohio State Buckeye and a Georgia Bulldog.

Im assuming its the candy. And buckeye candy has chocolate in it. Some dogs have bad reactions to chocolate. Chocolate should never be given to dogs (white chocolate is actually okay, but not brown/dark chocolate, inc. milk chocolate.)

buckeyes...dont they have chocolate and peanut butter? Chocolate may make your dog a little sick. I'd keep an eye on him while its being digested and see what happens in the end.

My dog has eaten them without any harm, but chocolate is supposed to be really bad for dogs. It speeds up their heart and can kill them.
