I'm getting mine out on Wednesday in the morning and I'm just wondering how long the anastesia usually lasts and how long you are groggy and how long your cheeks and gums are sore.

You'll miss school Wednesday. You might be functioning for school Thursday, then again you could be out the rest of the week. It very much depends on the individual. Most people are up and around by the end of the day, though, if they get them out in the morning.

If you are being put out completely then it will take a day or so to feel better. If they are impacted then possibly longer. Make sure to gargle with warm water, and DON"T suck on anything until they have scabs, dry socket is very painful. Get plenty of rest and plenty of fluids. Eat soft foods until you can handle more solid foods, but everyone heals in their own time. Good luck....

omg bad bad feeling
i sowwie
but only for a couple of days
and the stitches that they put in will eventually dissolve
no hard or soliid solid food for about a week
but you get nice tteeth in the end
totally worth it
good luck
and eat all the hard foods b4 wednesday!!

I didn't feel a thing having mine out, the same day fine but droggy, next day throbby.....just don't bend over then your head really pounds, next day good to go..........

depends on the person, everyone doesnt recover the same or react the same to medication.
