1) You go to the post office and tell them you need a money order for certain amount, say for example you need to pay $15 for the socks. Pay them the $15 you need the money order for plus about $1 as money order fee.

2) Fill up the money order with the information such as the recipient (the socks company) and your name as the remitter (payer).

3) Fill up the order form from the socks company catalog, mail your order form with the money order. Or if you are ordering by phone, place your order and get their mailing address then mail the money order out to the company.

4) Wait for your socks to arrive in the mail :)

ALWAYS fill up a money order with the recipient's info. NEVER mail it blank. If you do and it gets lost in the mail, anyone who finds it can fill it out with their name and cash it out and you lose your money.

If the items you order are sent COD. then all you have to do is go to the post office were they will be sent and the just pay cash. If a postal money order is needed you go to the post office and buy a postal money order (for a fee) and send it to the company where you are purchasing the product. I the later is true i would worry about the product and its arrival. Most legit companies send their products COD. and you dont need ID.

Yes you can use amoney order but you need to have cash when you go to purchase the money order. If you look in the yellow pages I'm sure you can find other places to buy a money order as well. Maybe a Wells Fargo, Western Union or even your local grocery store. My friend doesn't have a checking account and uses them all the time. Hope the socks are warm.

Go to the post office and ask for a money for the exact amount of your purchase -- include all charges such as shipping and handling. The post office charges you a nominal fee for this. Pay them the cash. They'll hand you the money order and you write the payee on it. Go home and mail the money order and your order form to Journeys and you'll have your socks in no time!

Sure, anyone can use money orders. You can get them a lot of places - some grocery or convenience stores, or as you mention, the post office. You go to the post office and tell them you want to buy a money order for a particular amount, and give them that amount plus a small fee, then they give you a piece of paper that's a money order and you sent it to whomever you need to pay.

All you have to do is go to the post office and tell them that you would like to buy a money order. Then you tell them how much the amount needs to be and they will make it out for you. It's really easy. All you have to do then is fill in who it is to and sign it at the bottom like a check.

Yes, absolutely, you can buy Money Orders. It's better if you buy them at the Post Office, because everyone takes them. If you buy them at a convenience store the person receiving it may have a hard time cashing it.

of course. you can get MO's from the post office, WalMart, a gas station, a bank....fees vary. a word of caution though....there have been some counterfeit U.S Postal Money Orders floating around. I used to be a teller at a bank and there was this number we had to call every time a customer presented us with a U.S.P.S MO. in order to verify its authenticity.

Yes, the Money Order cost about 80-90 cents plus the amount you want.
