the clavicle sticks out a little and it is sort of under the neck, but above the chest. Is this is what you are refering to? Look at this cat skeleton, and you can see how it sticks out a little (near the shoulder bones)

Hi there...this sounds like an injury which would need the attention of a veterinarian practictioner. Consider ringing a vet to arrange an appointment to have her treated as soon as possible since this could be life threatening

it may be the hyoid bone...which is basically the connecting point of the muscles of the tongue to the neck....it helps cats, dogs, and humans swallow and move their tongues in different directions

If it's always had it, it's probably it's sternum. My cat has one that sticks out too.

no, that is most certainly not normal unless she has a birth defect and thats just normal for her. u shuld c ur vet

from what you are describing it doesnt sound normal...i would make an appt at the vet and see what he says about it...
