I have a lot of curly hair but i wear it straight. I need a good hairstylist that won't charge more thatn $50 for cut and dry, but is up to date with hair styling techniques and modern looks.

Not in NYC, unless you go to bumble and bumble for a free cut from associates that are getting ready to be promoted!
A good cut for curly hair is expensive here!
