Technically the bible by no skill mentions woman homosexuality, basically male. So there is that. there is likewise the certainty the bible grew to become into written by way of people, and because people are improper there's a competent hazard that any actual word of God has been tainted by way of the perspectives of people that recorded the word. Leviticus, which calls homosexuality an abomination, is likewise the e book that demands stoning people for specific style options and different societal policies of the day. which you would be able to assert that the former interior reach regulations of those people who wrote all this down are not to be regarded on a similar way the ten commandments and the instructions of Jesus Christ are. in my view, if i presumed in god, that's what i could think of. Nature made you this way. God made nature, with this magnificent geared up in evolutionary gadget that makes it obtainable for complicated life varieties to proceed to strengthen and alter for the duration of time. Evolution honestly works so nicely i'm shocked greater people do no longer see it as evidence of God. considering we can be conscious homosexuality in different primates, it might desire to serve some objective in God's layout. Evolution breeds out characteristics that are risky over the years, which honestly sounds like something a divine plan could prefer. If homosexuality has been around this long, it extremely is efficient to the species, and for this reason God desires it to be so. For honesty's sake i'm no longer religious, yet I do comprehend why people ought to make certain God interior the complexity and perfection of evolving life.

Yes. It is in the Bible and the Quran. The Muslims believe it is wrong too.
I have a question for you why do you direct this question only for the Christians, when homosexuality is forbidden by other religions, not just Christianity! Muslims Kill those who are gay and lesbians, Christians don't?!
I say live and let live. If they are wrong, then God will deal with their mistakes if it is a mistakes, not my place to judge them. Peace to ALL.

The Bible says nothing direct about homosexuality but it clearly condemns bigotry
There is no gay & lesbian lifestyle, we have partners, we need to buy food and pay mortgages and hold down jobs same as anyone, if you think gay clubs and bars is the gay lifestyle are you telling me straights don't sometimes go to bars and clubs?
Homosexuality is a normal human variation like height or IQ, our sexuality whether gay or straight is influenced by genetic factors plus the hormonal environment in the womb as well as a myriad of other influences nobody can identify and none of which can be chosen...neither heterosexuality nor homosexuality are chosen.
We can't choose to change our sexuality, a gay man is still a gay man even if he is pursuaded to become celibate or live in the closet and maybe take a wife, he's still going to be a gay man but now living an elaborate lie which will store up all kinds of problems for himself and for the people close to him.
The very best thing we can do is to accept people for who and what they are and to accept ourselves, it's about being honest and accepting the truth. It is not a crime or a sin to be gay and to have a consensual physical relationship, it's healthy and it's wholesome.

This is a subject that is dear to me. I had a dear lifelong friend and she was gay. She passed away. I know that my friend was not evil or wrong in the eyes of any God. It is for her that I speak so loudly and so often on this subject. Not all Christians are bigots, the fundamentalists are the worse. If you are not a Christian fanatic, I am not talking to you. If I see one scripture when I close this and look at the answers, I will know who is an ignorant fanatic and who is not.

Yes, the Bible says it's wrong.
Romans 1:26, 27 says: "That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error." That's just one of several scriptures on the matter.
Unfortunately, many believe that 'God hates gays', but that isn't true. God "does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9) He hates the sin of homosexual relations, not the people themselves. There are people in my religion who are attracted to people of the opposite sex. They just cannot act on it. Just as there are people who once smoked or did drugs. Some of them still have those cravings, but do not act on them because they know how God feels about it. Their relationship with God is more important to them than momentary pleasure.

First of all, I'm a Christian and I don't think homosexuality is a "lifestyle." A lifestyle is a choice, like whether or not to live in a house or an apartment. The Christians I know who believe homosexuality is wrong believe that based on some passages in the Bible. However, I take issue with their use of scripture. But, not all Christians believe homosexuality is wrong, just the louder ones are being heard...

Not only that, its also because the male body, carries the seed, and female body carries the egg, and that is the normal, we were made this way on purpose, its not an accident, we were told to replenish the earth, how can that be possable, if we were all to live the gay life, and were faithful , to that way of life? we couldn`t and not enough people in this world can afford those fertility clinics, to keep the population going, I know we have 300 million people in the world today, BUT man lives an average of 70/75 years, and the world population would drop drastically, and then you have aids, and other diseases that would wipe us completely out ver soon.

The bible does say its wrong, and you have the choice to change like I did. I once was gay. Till I found Jesus and wanted him in my life. I knew I had to change. I asked Jesus to change me and I wanted that change but I couldn't do it myself. Jesus took all of my past desires away, all the sexual impurity, drinking ect. He made me into a new creation. its been over a year now, since I came to the Lord. And I will tell one thing, I am the happiest I have ever been in my life! I am now waiting till marriage.
Jesus can change you if you want the change, just ask him, ask him to be Lord in your life. IF you need to talk just e-mail me. God bless.

What "I" think is really of no consequence. My faith is not a matter of opinion, mine or any other humans. The parameters of my faith were set down by means of a revelation (or series of revelations) given by God long ago.
Yes, these revelations are found in the Bible. There are many different topics addressed, not just homosexuality.

yes it is wrong GOD condems the sin of homosexuality but he loves the sinner. in the book of genesis HE allow sodom and gamorah to be destroyed. Genisis 18 and 19 chapters Lev 18: 22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. 23 And you shall not lie with any animal and so make yourself unclean with it, neither shall any woman give herself to an animal to lie with it: it is perversion.Lev 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. Mark 2:17
And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
