Please if you say, "I have widows sp or something like that", how do you expect anybody on this site to help you. You must know what Microsoft Windows platform that you loaded into your system.

You can not speed of your system if your have used up all of your memory with an excessive amount of programs that are loaded. If this is not the case then you are infected with spyware, malware and trojans an all other kinds of virus. This for sure will slow down your system.

If you have an antivirus system scan your system. You must only use one antivirus program or you will have serious conflict.

You can use more then one antispyware program. I use four in my system.

You don't say what antivirus sytem you have. If it happens to be Nortons or Mcafee, get rid of it as it is pure garbage from day one and continues to get worse each an every year.

If your financial situaiton is average and you want to download an excellent free antivirus system that is far superior to any one that you would purchase. (I use it in one of my computers).

http://www.avast.com This program will ask you for your email address so they can send you a free registration key. The key is good for one year. After one year you must ask for a new free key. Thier purchased avast is the same as the free, they just charge corporate. Never had one virus in over nine years.

If you need a excellent free antispyware program to run. I use this program also.

http://www.superantispyware.com excellent free program that scan all 175,000 objects in my system, plus compressed files/folders and favorites.

If you still have problems with memory, then you will have to purchase additional memory chip that may cost you around $40.00 depending in which country that you live in.

Hope that you have all your Microsoft Critical Updates that come out every second Tuesday of each month. If you don't then go to start= Windows updates and let Microsoft scan your pc for all current critical updates and download them. (Some require that you reboot). Plus always reboot when ever spyware or a virus is found.

Good luck to you.
