may i know whom to contact for economic assistance for my painting talent.?

I am a fine artist residing in bhopal,I like to paint oil on canvas but lack of money stops me from going smoothly,even a small canvas costs 90 R.S/and I dont have that much to spent,cose I am comin from a poor family,.....to earn my livin I work in a hotel as a waiter.the salary doesn`t cover up all my needs. hope somebody will help me

i am in agreeance with the post above mine. a suggestion would be that you need to sell paintings in order to support your painting. are you assembling your own canvases onto the boards or are you buying them pre-made? you may be able to save money by assembling them yourself. at this point in time, there aren't any associations that help with financing supplies for free-lance artists. it really would be nice if there was, but it doesn't make sense for there to be free money to support a hobby.

There are many goverment bodies that are there in order to help talented people who cannot afford to continue with their talent.I feel u can contact them and may get some help from them.One such scheme is Rogzar yogana.Just enquiry about it

Check with local coffee shops and see if they might be willing to display your work for free. You could put up a card on how to contact you if anyone wants to buy it. Might be worth a shot and the shops like having the free art to display.
