I have highlights and used an expensive shampoo for blondes, but some of my highlights grabbed on to the lavender tint - and after several washings, the purple tint remains...

Use some dish detergent ,that usually fades color faster,make sure to use conditioner. Good luck

Bummer. My hairdresser sold me something to put highlights in my hair, and it, too, turned purple. I've washed it several times but it still looks purple in certain lights, so I'll be watching to see what suggestions you get.
Either that, or thee and me will start a new trend for purple hair -- just before Hallowe'en we might be able to get away with it.....

Mix regular shampoo w the same amount of developer and put on areas that look discolored (purple)... leave in until you see the purple dissolving and rinse.. put in a deep conditioner leave in for a few minutes... then rinse :) it helped me w my purple

I would suggest you schedule an appointment with a master colorist at a local salon-they will be able to correct the coloring procedure.

Just tell people you meant to do that. It is in style and you can do something for Halloween like that. You will probably have to redye it. My mom went from brown to ash blonde and her hair turned purple so she had to have it redyed.

call a beauty parlor - if they are still open today - at this time.....

Otherwise - does it say anything about it on the box? Is there a 1-800 # you can call the company?

Rebleaching, or go to the salon and look for a dye remover.

try washing it some more in some non-tinted shampoo...

talk to your hairdresser... the only other thing would be to get Fanciful for blondes.. it's a temporary fix.

it will come out after a few washes
wash with hot water
