To be honest with you, if you're going to buy 2 15s and spend 400 or less, you'd be better off buying 2 good 12's. I've been doing installs for quite some time and 2 good 12's with a nice box and nice amp, will out perform 2 cheap 15's in a bad box with a cheap amp any day of the week. Now, if your talking about 400 for the subs and enclosure then I would probably go with Kicker CompVRs, MTX 5500s, Polk Audio DB, Eclipse, and there are many others all whom offer a dual 12 inch enclosure for around 400. Your best bet is to shop around, get a cd that you listen to all the time and take with you, and go listen to the different setups, no matter what I or anyone else tells you, it all comes down to what you think sound best. Everyones ears are a little different.

JL Audio has the best for 15' subs but you are not going to get them for that price. I don't know of any 15' sub for that price.
Check out www.crutchfield.com
You can atleast get an idea of what a 15 cost and save up some more money.
For 400 you can get two 12" subs that hit just as hard allready in a box...... example.....Audiobahn

Pitbull, Solo Baric sub suck, each and one and all of Kickers sq. subs have mechanical themes. That and that they do no longer even come on the factor of even thinking approximately retaining a candle to any corporation that Exile has stated. Get a clue guy. Tim, are you for real?????? if so do never attempt to respond to yet another query at here in any respect. James, fusion is a shaggy dog tale of a audio corporation, they could have some decent kit, yet they care extra with regard to the seems. Smokin it, you somewhat could desire to be smokin it, when you consider which you have no longer listed no longer a single heavy hitter in the sub marketplace. All you have listed are decent subs, no longer something extra. Exile, freaking great checklist. the only element is that Adire Audio went out of corporation a pair of years in the past. despite if in case you look demanding adequate you have gotten the skill to discover their kit floating around obtainable.

There are many good subs out there, but 15's for under 4 hundred, is too cheap. Plus you'll need a monster amp to power those things, and that amp alone should be more 4 hundred itself. Save more money and do it right.
