Any advantages, real or imagined, would be far outweighed by the high cost of fruit and vegetables, when available, the costs of child care, lawn care, constuction, meat [trimming/butcher/packing], pass-alongs owing to higher cleanning costs [hotels, offices, homes]. And legal immigrants would not have any better a time facing racism....
The illegal immigrant situation is complex, but we should face facts regarding the value of immigrant labor and come up with a solution that reaps the value to both us and them while minimizing the downside to both us and them....

Employers would simply be forced to pay decent wages and all thsoe jobs would get filled by Legal Us residenence. Yes it might take some time but ALL those jobs were done by US citizens before the Illegals came and I'm sure they would have no problem doing them again once illegals are gone.

Maybe mothers could stay home and raise the kids again because the citizens left would demand a decent wage and receive it.
The homeless Vietnam vets that are still young enough to work might have a chance at a job that was stolen by an illegal.
People in my town might have a chance to work at one of the bigger employers here, Wabash National Trailers, if they weren't filled with illegals.
We'd have more tax money to spend on the welfare of American citizens who need it.
Our hospital emergency rooms wouldn't be taxed as heavy by treating the sniffles of illegals.
The list could go on and on.

I think there would b more jobs for Americans.
Our economy would improve, and so would MediCare costs.
Living prices would drop and wages would increase...causing surplus.
I don't think I'm being racist, but this sometimes this country seems more like Mexico then U.S.A the country of oppurtunity.
P.s : Do u know illegal immigrants have all the rights we do except to vote??!

The US would come out stronger. Crime rates would drop. The govt would be able to better care for legal residents.Why don't these countries take care of their own. Things would be safer from further terrorist attacks if our borders were secured. I think the economy would improve as well.

The 12 million white trash living in trailor parks collecting well-fare wouldn't have an excuse for not finding a job anymore. It would save the gov't a couple billion a year as well. Maybe I wouldn't need a spanish translator with me everytime I go through the Wendy's drive through.

I think loans won't be paid, there will be abandoned cars, houses and factories. There will not be enough workers, our country will come to a stand still just as bad, if not worse than 9-11.

life would be easier...the welfare and WIC progrmas wouldn't be so overhauld with the illegals mooching...and home depot would have to take down their tents in socal for the "grab an illegal worker for the day" ...

It won't happen , eveyone knows it won't. Why ?cuz that is too many people to make dissaper. The magic wand of government is VERY impotent. More than likely they will INCREASE your taxes to pay for The " GREAT " wall and make themselves look good, grant those who are here amnesty or guest worker status (like they did not too long ago) and that will be the end of the debate until it benefits them to bring it up again.The EASY BUTTON soltuion.
