How many compositions did Mozart publish? I tried to find it on the internet and couldn't find a number. I know there are fragmented ones and things he never published but how many did he perform/write?

Mozart composed over 40 symphonies, countless concerti, a requiem mass, and many operas including the Magic Flute and The Marriage of Figaro. He is most known for his Eine Kline Nachtmusik, Requiem (he died in the midst of its composition), and his delicate and deliberate style. Kochel tried unsuccessfully to catalog all his works and ended up with more than 571 pieces. There are countless others that evaded Kochel's discovery, and still more are yet unfound.

It is believed that he composed something close to 600 pieces.

1000s, many mostly likely never seen by the public--it is hard to estimate the exact number.
