Yes it is a Mystery!! And you know whats really interesting? When Jesus was here on earth he said to his disciples: No one knows the time of my return not even myself. Now I imagine that when he arose from the tomb and went to heaven he knew the answer but no earthly person knows when he will come back to take us with him. So be ready at all times.

YES! His next return will be the "Rapture" that is when He returns but does not set foot on earth, His return is for 'The Church" all those that have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. It says in the scriptures that "in a moment in the twinkling of an eye" it will happen. It says the "dead in Christ will rise first then those that remain on earth will be caught up in the air to be with Him.Many many people (believers) will be suddenly removed from the earth! those that remain will be deceived as to what happened to them all ( work of the anti christ). Now we enter into the period referred to in Daniel's prophecy the 7 year period of tribulation. The first 3 and1/2 years the anti christ sets up his reign in the new temple in Jerusalem, it is after 3/12 years the Jews come to realize that the anti chrsit is not the true Messiah it was Jesus Christ. At this point 144000 special Jews go out into all the world preaching where we see milions converted. At this time it says one will not be able to buy or sell in the market place without the mark of the beast, could be a chip in the hand or forehead. God's judgement will fall on earth over the last years of the tribulation period. Millions will die, then at the end of the Trib a great battle ensues( Armageddon) where the nations of the world align against Israel but before she is obliterated Christ returns for to set up His Millenial rule on earth (1000 year reign) to show man how His perfect plan can bring global peace. At the end of the 1000 years Satan is released for a short spell (He was chained by God for the 1000 years) showing once again how men can turn on God and His righteousness. Then the millenium ends and then comes the "Great White Throne Judgement" where the non blievers are risen from the dead judged and cast into the lake of fire. This occurs because of their rejection of Christ whom God hath sent. Man cannot stand before God who is holy unless his sins have been removed by the blood of Christ.

There is absolutely a second coming of Jesus. Praise the Lord!!

Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
kingdom Dan 2:44, Matt 3:2, Matt 4:17, Matt 4:23, Matt 6:10, Matt 10:7, Matt 12:28, Luke 10:9, Luke 11:20

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

There is only a handful of prophecies left to come to pass, and we will see Jesus return in our lifetime. Are you ready?

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Isa 13:10 Matt 24:29 Mark 13:25

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Dan 7:13, Matt 24:30, Mark 13:26

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The Bible tells us very clearly, in words spoken by Christ himself in Matthew 24, that He will come again. There will be nothing secret about it, it will be the greatest event the world has ever seen. Revelation 1:7 tells us "Behold, He comes in the clouds, and every eye shall see Him."

Mark 13:26 says, "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory."

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 says, "For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air."

The second coming of Christ is a foundational belief of the Christian faith. Those who deny His return are false teachers, and are either deceived, or apostate.

Yes I do. The Bible is full of fulfilled prophecies and this is one of the last ones in the Bible. The Bible speaks about the many things to look for in the last days. My friend - yes it will happen - and it is my belief that it will happen soon (not tomorrow but in maybe the next generation). One of the things to look for is the increase of natural disasters. Listen to the news and that is one of the big topics. Earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes - they are increasing in number and size. It is not something that I think about daily. And I am not some one that is dressing up in a purple jumpsuit and planning a mass suicide ... what I am doing is loving God with all my heart and loving my neighbor as I love myself. This is what will prepare me for the inevitable.

It is one of the promises in the Bible..
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

I have absolutely no doubt about it. But there's going to be unimaginable chaos and war leading up to that time. The first link below is an article about the events leading up to the Second Coming of Christ.

Yes. He said it, therefore I believe it.

John 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Replace the word "think" with 'believe' in your question.
No intelligent person would have reason to think that such a thing ever happened in the first place- let alone have an irrational belief that it would happen again.
