It doesn't hurt to give the relationship a try.
You see, if you never take a chance, you may miss out on something grand.
For all you know, once the two of you become an item, you'll both probably stop flirting with others and be flirting with only eachother.

Take a chance. If you start getting jealous if he starts flirting with other people then just remember that he was like that when you met. He may change when yr together. If not then just dump him and move on. Live a little

You're overthinking, give it a chance, what's the worst that could happen ? Have fun while it lasts. You may feel that way and it may happen but that's what relationships are like.

If this was me, i would take things slow, maybe double date with another couple the first time you go out together, so you would be at ease, knowing you had friends along if the date does'nt go well. be safe, not sorry,,,,
