I think there will be a program for them to be legal regardless of how long they have been illegal or for what reason. I think they will totally get away with it and a wall will be built in order to satisfy some people who think that it will work in the future.
By the way, a wall will not work, it is the govs. way to get us to shut up about the illegals.

Nothing will be solved. Our government will be too wimpy to find an actual solution because they'll be too afraid to change anything from the way it is now. No matter what they decide upon somebody is going to be offended. A fence won't work because the Mexicans would just dig tunnels and if we were to build the fence there would be a liberal every yard calling it an inhumane travesty. No matter what we're not going to find a solution to anything, there are too many people divided on this issue. And by the way we already have a guest worker program, it's called a green card.

Border fences go up, ppl dig under the tunnels to get across the border. The US will annex the illegals in the US already because in the long run it will increase the tax revenue. The issue of immigration will go away for a few years, then during election it will become a hot topic once again.

Well, if the democrats take over the house then America is SCREWED!!!
So far, the President and the Senate could care less what the majority of Americans want or feel. So, if all three have no back bone, and no one to stands up for us, then look for the guest worker program aka AMNESTY to pass. GRRRRRR
Will it happen? GOD I HOPE NOT
We won't know until the elections.

The control of our borders will be enforced better not because of the illegal aliens but because of the drug runners and gang activity.The threat from the drug cartels.There will not be any whole scale amnesty,there will be a guest workers type of program.The promises made to the Hispanics in the heat of an election,by either party should not be considered as truth.Lies aren't contracts.There will be an increase in deportations,and in apprehensions that has already started.

Nothink will happen just like nothing has happened since 1984 when Reagan (a REPUBLICAN) granted the last amnesty for workers...hmmmm...the only thing that can happen is a new amnesty.
