Are directors of gay choruses usually gay themselves?

I used to sing with The Women's Chorus of Dallas and the director we had while I was there was gay. I know their current director is also gay. We sang with a group from Kansas City once, and it was quite obvious that their director was also gay. I am not gay, but I would say 90% of the chorus was.
