Cham G is right, the Royal Palace is never open to tourists. Soldiers may have been placed around certain buildings and compounds such as the Royal Palace. They still have not cancelled Marshall Law but, that is only regards to assembling people to protest the coup.

The Grand Palace may have been closed for a few days. It should be open again.
