Creative costumes?
Just curious on what your child is going to be?
Do you buy their costume or make it yourself?
My 4yr. old wanted to be a Faerie. I made her this really beautiful little dress and wings and a matching little bag for the candy, it's very earthy and very adorable.

I have always made mine. And my mother always made me mine when I was a child.
I agree, store bought tend to be chincy and over-priced for the not so good quality of the costumes.

My son is going as a cowboy this year. He is 5 and with the exception of last year (he had to be a blue power ranger!), my mom or I have made his costume every year. I hate those store bought costumes- most of the are expensive and very cheaply made.
