im a sophomore in highschool.
im going emo, cus im stressing myself out too much about my grades.
i always try my best, but i screwd up in my freshman year, so it's REALLY HARD to bring it back up! i know, i was ef f in stupid...
but going emo is not really bothering me.
the main reason for all my struggle and depression is procrastinating...
is procrastinating some sort of mental illness?
i know it sounds stupid, but i have NO motivation whatsoever.
i just tell myself what's right, then i dont do it.
if i didnt stress myself or didnt have any pressure from my family or friends,
i'd probably starve to death.
i wouldnt even get up to take a shower.
but i would eat and sleep, just to stay alive.
im going crazy.
i take procrastination to its extreme.
im gonna be taking SAT world history on december 2nd.
i procrastinated for 9 weeks.
i studied over the summer though, cus my parents were pushing me
now
i only have 6 weeks, and im online.
will you help me?
it's serious..

You don't sound like you have issues with mental illness- just know it is very tough to be young without worrying about almost everything. You are not lazy or sick- but you might be mildly depressed- I went thru that frequently. Never treated for it- just tuffed it out. See someone if you think you are beating yourself up too much. I think you are being hard on yourself- you sound like a good, caring, and usually hopeful person. Don't give up and don't give in.. go kick some butt and just do your best= that is all u can do...

If you are depressed it is easier to procrastinate as it requires a sense of energy to do constructive things.

All you really need is a little personal motivation, as cheesy as that sounds.

If you've not been successful at one thing, it is easier to believe that you will be unsuccessful in other things which can in turn lead to a downward spiral of poor self-belief.

It is best to start with activities that you know you are good at to help build up some personal motivation. Once you start to notice perosnal achievements it will be easier for you to get going with more difficult tasks.

It is also a lot easier if you have others around who can help you.

Getting a bit of exercise, although it sounds strange, can give you more energy. If you do some short bursts of medium to high-level exercise your body releases natural stimulants which give you a natural 'high' and you will notice you have more energy in general.

I really hope that helps as although it seems difficult in the short term, when you look back when you're older, you'll be glad you gave it more effort, even if you don't necessarily do as well as you'd hoped.

I speak from experience and wish you all the best!

Maybe you should talk to a doctor. It sounds like you might be depressed. If thats not an option maybe if you had friends to study with, like a study group, that might help you get motivated. I know I am much more motivated to do things when I have other people hold me accountable.

Sounds like a little bit of depression is making you procrastinate so much. You sound discouraged. Try talking to someone you trust who is mature (i.e. older). You need some encouragement and support! School is hard. Being a teenager is REALLY hard. I understand.

procrastination isnt a disease. emo kids are cool, just don't to drugs. i messed up my frosh year too and you just have to deal with the fact that you can't take it back. it seems like you're being pressured a lot. if you want to be emo then be it. if you want some help prepareing for the SAT then go to sparknotes.com and take mini test. just remeber to be true to yourself and keep it realz!

i aspects you many suggestions at techniques to improve it, besides the indisputable fact that it would be extra high priced than buying a clean computing device. The video show situation isn't your video show so in simple terms purchase a tower. a clean tower would be below 500 dollars at the instant so i think of you will possibly desire to easily purchase a clean tower and eliminate that one. If that is not sturdy now, it is going to easily fail on you extra later.
