I adopted a 3 month old jack russell/? from a shelter just last thursday... the people that brought them (litter of 3) in didnt tell the shelter personal what other breed they were they just said jack russell mix.... but my puppy looks identical to a beagle.... i asked my vet if he thought i was accurate and he said he(my puppy) definatly had beagle in him... so now hes a jack-a-beagle.... thats what this new "breed" is called... but yeah post a picture i would love to help or email me one at mksnider@earthlink.net good luck in your search!

Do you have picture of him to put up on the web. If not if he has short hair and stubby tail and is hyper beyond belief then you probley have a type of terrier.

unless you have registration papers it is really impossible to tell.. its all guess work...
a vet could guess as well as a groomer or dog trainer...as it grows up it may change a bit too so you may want to wait
really though any dog without registration papers is considered a MUTT
