I got talked into getting my hair cut above my shoulders. It looked cute before, but now I HATE it! I can't even put it up in a ponytail, which I used to do on a bad hairday. Now I'm just going to have to live with it! It'll take about a month to grow back, but it looks SO bad. I can't pull the sides back or pull it back in any way. Any idea on how to fix it?

It is layered, and my bangs are the Nicole Richie look (side swept)

well either cut it into a cute short bob, or pixie cut, layer it , or get bangs... if u don';t wanna cut it then try french braids, or get the front hair and push it forward (like my avatar) I've done it for yrs. it's super cute and easy!

Try using berets and headbands. Get a super cute headband and put your hair back. This is what I did when I had the same problem. Put your hair back in a headband. Leave the bangs out. Either straighten them side swept, or curl them. (Whatever floats your boat) then put a cute little beret to hold your bangs in place (with uber cuteness),or put it before the headband on your hair. Very pretty.

Use a headband or hair clippies. If you get the horrible hair layered, it won't look AS bad above your shoulders. But for the future: Hair above your shoulders looks bad unless you're 7 years old.

Well, if you can afford it, try hair extensions. I know people who have done that, and it helps. Sorry you got a bad haircut, i know how you feel :( but i just lived with it and your hair grows back in no time. Just be glad you're not a cancer patient who has no hair anymore.

Weave girl.
Go to a hair salon and get some weave glued in or sewed in.
Or if it only takes a month for your hair to grow back.
Pull it back and wear a wig.

Okay. So my daughter got a haircut once and was in your situation before. This is what is she did. She tried putting a headband on, and she put a hat on and she put bobby pins in her hair. And now, she is use to her hair.
