Enigma and Enya are the best! However, when it comes to music, I rarely listen to the words, mostly because they are usually incomprehensible musically. If I like the melody and the harmony and the tempo, then I like it, no, love it! I like many Christian hymns and ballads for these same reasons, as well, but I usually keep my spirituality and my entertainment separate.

Many years ago. I have the CD, as well as other CDs by Enigma and Enya. I have long been a fan of both, but I think it is more for the music than the spirituality.

Actually enima is the music that was popular when I met my soul mate whom I've been with for 14 years...she and I couldn't get enough of enigma ...yes, it made me much more trusting in my belief of myself and my lifestyle....Enya sings totally different music which is also great...

It almost changed me. Then my friend, part native american indian, mentioned to me what a complete commodification of his culture the song is so far as the way it is sung. I thought he had a good point, and rejected Christ immediately after the exchange.
(ps- in your lyrics you forgot the "OOWWW OOOO I, OOH EYEEE OW WOW chanting)

I don't know how religion would have come out of that song with no mention of a God. But again the song talks about self and religion and spirituality should be about others more than yourself. But you must first reach yourself with God before you can help others.
