It seems like 2 days ago I felt something under my upper lid of my right eye. It starting feeling sore. It actually now feels like a pimple but under my eye lid. Is that possible, and if not, then what is it, and what can I do to get rid of it faster? Because it is really bothering me. Thanks!

Thanks to all the answers. I think it is a stye, but today it feels better and I kept washing my eye out and my hands and put a warm washcloth on it. That seems to help, but today I'm also sick, so it could also have been a cold in my eye. I lifted my lid up and found it and it looked like a cold sore, but under my eyelid.

its a stye, a bacterial infection. It will go away, just wait. Keep the area clean and wash ur eyes with sterile water or cold water that is clean.

It can be a stye (or hordeolum), that is an inflammation of the sebaceous glands at the base of the eyelashes. They are harmless but can be very painful, and may form on either the inside or the outside of the eyelid.. Or it can be a blocked oil gland near the eye, a chalazion.
Contact a doctor, eye drops will help you.

Have you tried pulling your eye lid down gently to see if its an eyelash or a piece of dirt ? or an eyebath ? the pimple you describe could be the start of a sty as this is how they start - they are quite painful and uncomfortable due to the place its in - go see your doc for clarification and also something to ease it if the first few things dont work .

It sounds like a stye, and I've had many of them. The only things that work are warm compresses, and believe it or not, wash your eye out with Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo. I know it sounds stupid, but trust me, it works. It has always cured mine, and every person I've told that to has gotten rid of theirs from using it. Good luck.

Well, we dont know what it is but try eye drops. You might have to see a doc if that don't work & if it doesn't go away by itself after a few days.

A stye. It will go away by itself. You have a cold there.

Yes, that is possible. It's called a sty, I had one. You have to go to the eye doctor to get antibiotics for that.
