I was under the impression that seafood was usually served with white. This article suggests some reds might be appropriate.

surely, i might serve a stable steak (i understand each and every physique is asserting that) yet make it a stable ONE... a tenderloin drizzled with a splash olive oil and then pro with some salt and pepper. Brown in a warm pan (oven secure pan) for 3 minutes the two area and then place (interior the pan) in a 350 degree oven for about ten extra minutes. be constructive you touch with your finger for tenderness approximately six minutes in. no longer something worse than an over cooked steak. pass away a splash longer if that is too uncommon after 10 yet undergo in techniques, it is going to cook dinner speedy. enable relax on the counter for 5 minutes earlier serving. Serve this with a stable baked potato (those may well be interior the oven with the beef yet might have been in there for about an hour longer) with butter, bitter cream and spring onions and an outstanding Cesar salad. i exploit romain hearts, shop croutons, and Ken's lite creamy Cesar dressing yet... I upload my very own overwhelmed garlic and lemon jui

Because ot DOESN'T.

Seafood & red wine is the socks with sandals of cuisine. Though you can get away with it if you have something heavire with the meal(like cilatro in the salad, though this can completely overpower the delicious taste of the crab. A port for afters, maybe.

I'm a huge fan of honey mead, get the dry if you're going to drink it during the meal. Blush, chardonnay, or zin' is all right. You just don't want it to overpower the crab.

But really, if its just the two of you it doesn't matter, if he wants red, he can have red, but you warned him.
