We eat deer, etc and we don't raise those....

No one will justify being cruel to animals, so we can't "do whatever we want with them."

Well I ain't never raise no animals, but no I think people should miss treat the animals too like killing them just for sports.

It depends. Animals bred to be companions shouldn't be eaten. Farm animals like chickens, cows, etc. are fair game.

By the way, in the Bible, God appeared to Peter in a dream and told him that we were now allowed to eat whatever farm raised animal we liked.

first part i agree, but not the second part.

Its the law of nature and for survival when it comes the first part. For example dont sharks survive by eating smaller fish.

I dont like the second part of the qs, bec its like child labor. Making a dog or horse or a donkey to carry human beings is not being kind.

I always thought we eat animals because we can and they taste good. They'd eat us if given the chance.

I don't see a reason for not doing it. Just make sure that the animal doesn't have a disease or something that could make you sick.
BTW, isn't that what farmers do?
