Would you prefer a girl you were interested in a long term relationship with to be a virgin when you met?

I would prefer it if she were a virgin. The fact you said a long term relationship means she will gain plenty of experience. That's just my opinion and many other people said it would be better if she wasn't a virgin but I think it's because guys think with d**k and don't care.

I'd have to say yes.
However, virginity probably means she has less relationship experience. One of me ex's was a virgin and she had difficulty with dealing with issues. She had unreasonable high expectations of life and often had break downs when things weren't going her way. Basically, since she had a stable relationship since day one, she was in la-la-land with dreams of movie like romance and love and life. She was like a big little girl since she never dated before and I was her first sexual experience.
Men however, really like to have a virgin, because primarily no one else has been there. Also because we feel extra special that you'd give it up to us. Finally there's this silly conquest thing in the back of our heads. Personally, virginity is not a must, just good.

No way, been there done that! A virgin has no life experience of sexual relationships and therefore has only limited experience of serious relationships. You can't have an enduring relationship based on her yard-stick of what she wants!

I wouldn't mind, done both.
It doesn't matter how many times shes slept with people as long as she loves you and tells you the truth.
Always wear protection and have regular check ups.

if she was a virgin because of here principles i would be proud of here,in the end it dusnt matter, if you fall in love that's the most important thing, honesty, respect and loyalty the 3 most important traits us humans have problems doing x

as long she is faithful and the same goes for you (same rules for both) what went on before she met you is none of your business same as any relationship you had before you met her.
