The only plausible explanation for the story involves incest or alternatively Adam & Eve were the first Hebrews, while plenty of "other" proto-humans lived on the Earth. Once they "fell" and acquired knowledge, stopped being the robotic slaves of Jehovah, and grew a human mind, they went out into the real world and mated with "animals" (non-Hebrew humans), but since they were so advanced and great, their children were always 100% Hebrews. Yeah, it's totally racist and offensive that way. Incest is much nicer.

Renegad6 is showing his ignorance of what the Bible says. And obviously, others have agreed with him. So sad. The truth of the matter is that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters. Gen. 5:4 says: "And the days of Adam after his fathering Seth came to be 800 years. Meanwhile he became father to sons AND daughters."

In Genesis chapter 5 we read
When Adam was 130 years old, his son Seth was born, and Seth was the very image of his father. After the birth of Seth, Adam lived another 800 years, and he had other sons and daughters. He died at the age of 930.

Yes, Adam and Eve had daughters. It was not typical in the culture of the time to count women unless there was a specific reason. So, there were lots of women they just weren't often brought up. This was true of virtually every culture of the time.
Oh, and yes, the children of Adam and Eve intermarried and had children without it creating genetic problems because the amount of 'corruption' in the gene pool at the time was very low so it wasn't a problem.

Yes, in fact the Bible says they had many sons and daughters. In fact, that's where Cain's wife came from. Adam and Eve kept having children long after Cain left. Eventually he meets a woman. It's his sister, but he doesn't care. He wasn't raised with her.

After Cain killed Abel, he fled God's wrath towards the land of "Nod, east of Eden", saying "...and whosoever finds me shall kill me..." Genesis 4:14. Therefore, it is an unarguable fact that there were other peoples - tribes, somewhere nearby the place where Adam and Eve and their immediate descendants dwelled, and naturally, from those peoples did Cain marry and reproduce: the only scenario that makes reasonable sense. The human race is undoubtedly much older than 6000 years, isn't it?
If Adam and Eve were actual historical characters (which is quite likely), I believe God meant for them to be an example to the obedience or disobedience of mankind, and whom the biblical saga introduced as the "Grandparents of mankind", and from whom all development of common history between God and his human creation was portrayed by the Bible, culminating in God's promise of salvation in Jesus Christ, who undid the effects of their initial sin.

Adam and Eve may have been the first to be created but many others too could have been created LATER.
Having been CREATED later they would not be related to Adam and Eve.
Thus the children of the two families could have married without fear of incest.
Who agrees with this?

They had many sons and daughters. The KJV Bible says:
"And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:" (Genesis 5:4)

Adam and Eve were the FIRST people that God created, but nowhere does it say that those two were the ONLY people, that he created. Others may well have followed.
Hope that helps.

There were other people in the world that God created sin just started with Adam and Eve. The world didn't populate that fast with Adam and Eve.
